Someone had their co-driver pull out on the way to the ferry (because the car broke down twice on the way there) I rang Mike Messenger at 11:00 last night and he's on his way to the ferry to take over.....it's started!

James Miles (with Madeline Farrow) have blown the Cosworth engine in France and are now back in England carrying out an engine change before setting off for Tangier ASAP.

Ian Hyne and Guy Meisl have had the big ends go in the Reliant engine in their Liege. They are presently in France arranging a replacement engine or fitting new shells.

Ian & Guy in the Liege are on their way back to Portsmouth to do a quick engine change.

An illness in the family has meant the RS200 of James Anderson and Antonia Rowe may not be able to go. Heres hoping for a speedy recovery, and if there is an improvement we hope you will be able to catch the event up in Fes.

William and George brooks failed to finish their Findhorn in time and have changed there entry to a V8 MG and are on their way to the start.

Nigel Brooks and Monica Watson are still working on their Findhorn and are hoping to be off to the ferry soon.
