Coat of blue merle hue was begining to tangle from the lack of care it had recieved, twisting strands around one another to form a complicated array. It had been little under a month since Happy had seen or heard from his owner Maddie and this neglect was begining to take it's tolls upon his body. With a light sigh the collie sat down near the barn, hazel eyes watching desperatly for a helping hand.

The female of tri hue was hardly in better shape, her appearance a scraggled mess and her spirits no better. As she sat beside Happy, her playmate, her gaurdian, she nuzzled his neck softly and whimpered- What was to become of them?

*I'm assuming Maddie's gone.. for it's been months since she posted. Anyone else willing to take them in?*
