It wasn't long before she had finished and had placed the brushes back in the tack room; from which she emerged with a saddle, bridle, reins, and a breast strap drapped over the top. The first task was the saddle pad and saddle, which she set on Red's narrow Thoroughbred back and slid into place. "Excited, are we?" She asked with a laugh as the mare pranced, "Yeah," Jules caught the girth under the belly of Rex and slipped it into its buckle. From there she pulled gently, shortening it's length with each tug. As it was snug around Red with a few finger widths of space on either side, Jules sealed the buckle and stepped back quickly. She gave Red a moment to respond while softly caressing her neck with her downturned palm. The next thing would be the breast strap.
