Teresita sighed, she knew she couldn't lie. But she sure could try. Besides.. there wasn't anything wrong with her, was there? In her honest opinion the answer was no.

"How about we drop it?" She asked, casually, trying to break the eye contact. "There isn't anything wrong with me. Your.. imagining it. And I'm a crap lier, you know that, right now I'm looking you in the eye." She locked her eyes once more on those of Jordan, no emotion showing through. She was used to being confronted. But this was worse- confronted by your own flesh and blood over something you hadn't even noticed. Something she'd failed to notice, something she'd failed to take notion to.

"Wanna swim?" She asked, motioning to the inviting spring. Perhaps piercing the eerie mood by jumping into the refreshingly cool water the situation would lighten and even disinagrate.
