This sounds like a wonderful idea. And making it non-denominational leaves the door open to all (even us heathen Catholics!). I would love to attend whenever possible and I'm sure my daughter would, as well. We in the civilian community need more occasions to come together and what better way? I'm not much use in the talent department (singing, music, etc.), but am volunteering my services in any other way that I can. Cooking, sewing, phones calls,letter writing, etc...
