Out of about 6 children only one enjoys the 'Forward and reverse chaining' method to teach spelling where letters are added at either end of the word to be learnt (forward chaining) AND alternately reduced (reverse chaining).
Many children also don't like the 'Trace copy recall' method'
Can you guys come up with suggestions as to why its not so popular with the students Or does someone use other creative variants of these techniques?
