In reply to: Lord Bowdyn 's message, "He looks thoughtfully at her and let a heavy sigh escape him. "Tis True I am afraid." He grins playfully, unable to imagine her at war. "So you are a lady-knight? Tell me if you will, how did you become involved in this?" He avoids the direct question of where to go." on 17:13:22 05/19/01 Sat

"Where should I start? I was raised in the fishing town of Kellya, and warrior-maidens were not uncommon. I left soon, though..." She doesn't go into that, instead continues. "I left for a neighboring town, and enlisted at the castle. They did not accept young waifs such as I, so I cut my hair and called myself "Maben" until I received knighthood. I lived the part of a young boy until I proved myself..." She grins, shaking her head. "I suppose it would have been easier if I'd stayed home. I would have been trained regardless of my gender, but for some instances." She sighs, story done, though glossed over slightly...

"I see certain flaws in your story." He looks at her with a sly glance. He reaches up to touch her hair, then with little hesitance her face. "Who could mistake you for a boy? I find it hard to imagine all this beauty has just recently appeared." (NT)Lord Bowdyn17:21:46 05/19/01 Sat
