Marnie grins, touching his cheek softly with her free hand. "I agree. It's not just the fact that I haven't met anyone else . . . it's more," she offered, turning to gaze at the brilliant sky above them. Sometimes it puzzled her, yet amazed her, that she had met Darian. Every day she spent with him brought her closer to a conclusion about fate . . . why they had met, how much he meant to her, everything. She was extremely thankful to the fates and destiny, all that had contributed to making her able to meet him.
