Mouse gains her head quickly, adrenalin pumping through her system, her heart racing till the beats blur into one sound in her ears. She flails on top of the stallion, throwing her head high as counterbalance as she strikes out - like him seeking madly for vital purchase on the ground. One foreleg shoots out toward his head, the others dig into the turf in an instant and she is up. Her wings slam downwards. They help to lift her away with half air scoop, half push against the ground as she leaps. Flinging them high again she bolts - scuttling half sideways, half backwards away from her opponent.
With a shrill squeal she rolls her white-rimmed eyes, turning to rearing up and down and up and down and up and down and up and down in another crazy blur of movement.

She stumbles, finds her feet and her heart drops into a pit. She gasps as the beats slow from their madcap race to something approaching 'normal' and blinks to clear the double-vision. Shakes her head, grey forelock flying around her crazed eyes ... both terror and livid rage galvanise her, and neither emotions make her likely to back down as she dares him to attack.
