She sighs good-naturedly, shaking her reptilian head. Her neck frills rise and fall rythmically, voicing her embarrassment. A sibilant voice issues forth again, tinged again with amusement.
Ahhh...Nightgrove. I had hoped not too mane Earthwalkers would remember my rash actions. Have no fear, it seems Kem has gone, along with his minions. They shall not bother you. Some of my friends are here - but they seem to be off...
The dragon's speach trailed off, as she ducked her head to the horizon. Clouds littered the evening air, tinged with the burning colours of sunset. Orange, reds and golds streaked the cooling sky, as if giving their last stand against the darkness of the night. The dragon's slitted eyes returned to the pair, concerned.
You should not be out here in the dark. Come - I shall show you a cave if you wish. The Dark-After is not a welcome plight for Earthwalkers.
She nodded her head, rising to lumber towards a small opening. Ferns covered the mossy entrance, hiding it from view. It was near to the ground, and dry and spongey underfoot. The dragon backed out, flicking her tail at a patch of berries, and some mushrooms.
I fear not much meat is here...We seem to scare it off. Berries and roots will do you well enough, I assume? The river is near those birch and sumac trees.
What could only be described as a smile lit the reptilian beast's face. Liquid eyes swirled as she settled near the cave mouth, as much for protection for the girls as the comfyness of the moss underclaw.
