I was tremendously impressed by Four Past Midnight. It's been a while since I read it, but I still remember how good it was. "Secret Window, Secret Garden" was a trippy story (well, I guess most King is) and it should be right up Johnny Depp's alley.

Four Past Midnight is a collection of four short stories: "The Langoliers," (later turned into a 3-hour movie, and in my opinion one of King's best works ever) "Secret Window, Secret Garden," one more I can't remember, and the last one is so good that I don't want to tip you off even by describing it. It's definitely worth checking out.
