a few weeks after Harry Potter graduated and found a place of his own in an isolated section of Hogsmeade, Voldemort chose to attack in one last, desperate bid for power. they all believed that it was either now or never...they all believed that one would die, and the other would come out on top. they were all very wrong. somehow in the confusion of fighting, Harry Potter found himself face to face with his true enemy, who danced over his godfather's true grave mockingly. and in the confusion of curses that the figureheads of good and evil threw at one another, they both fell into the veil. both Harry Potter and Voldemort disappeared for what the entire wizarding world thought was forever. they thought that both Harry and Voldemort had died. they were wrong.

they believed it was over. they thought that because they had been forced to sacrifice their precious hero that the Dark Lord was gone forever. they thought that it was safe to go back to the way things were before all of the attacks, all of the suspicion, and all of the cultural changes. they were wrong.

it is now almost exactly sixteen years since Harry Potter and Voldemort disappeared, and the wizarding world has more or less recovered from the Dark Lord's constant assault. but during that time, something went terribly wrong. because Sirius Black hadnt died after all, or if he had died, he came back to life. and now both former Death Eaters, Order of the Phoenix members, and Aurors are all scrambling to be the first to find Voldemort and Harry Potter, except they dont know where they'll turn up. infact, they've begun to believe that they'll never show up.
