Nuclear Proliferation -- Advertising

In the summer of 2005, mankind managed to get itself into World War Three (WW3). What started out as a war between Iraq and the United States of America, paralleling one between Israel and Pakistan, turned into something much more. The rest of the major superpowers got annoyed with the lack of progress in either war, even after the death of Yasser Arafat. The war became global as allies were pulled into war. The last straw was when someone mysteriously burned down the building for the United Nations. The United States saw it as a direct threat to democracy and immediately decided that nuclear war was the only way. The mindset was, that if they got to North Korea first, North Korea couldn't bomb us. Unfortunatly, they had told China of their plan under the assumption that China was an ally, when really...China was simply a spy for the nearly insane leader of North Korea. Both China and North Korea got to the coast of the United States first as well as England. Bombing went on long into the night, nuke after nuke dropping to the ground.

The intense bombing disturbed the tectonic plates around the pacific coast of the United States and in the Pacific Ocean, causing a domino affect series of earthquakes of higher magnitudes than any could have imagined. This in turn caused tidal waves and volcanic eruptions around the world, without any warning at all. The casualties were tremendous, all the aid organizations couldn't help, they couldn't begin to fathom where to start. The world was devestated, whole parts of coutries were entirely submerged underwater. That winter, a nuclear winter began, wiping out whole populations and obscuring the little sunlight some areas got in the winter. Immediately, people began dying off, having no idea how to cope with it. It wiped out nearly everyone, since everyone had flocked to the only hospitable landmass left. A select few however, managed to evade the nuclear winter in ways no one knows how. They must learn to survive in a post nuclear world, when the human race as we know it...rests on their shoulders.
