Well, if all goes well, I start my chemo tomorrow. I also find out the results of my CT scan tomorrow. Sure could use some prayers.

I haven't been feeling all that great today. I feel like I'm right on the verge of getting something. I took my temperature at 7:30 this evening and it was 99.59. At 9:00 this evening it was 100 even. And I feel slightly achy. I hope it's nothing. If I have a temperature, I'm sure my doctor won't start the chemo yet. I hope I haven't caught a bug.

I hope all goes well. If you have some kind of infection, the doc probably won't start you on Navelbine. My dad had to skip a week when he had a fever. Obviously you wouldn't want to reduce your white cell count when you're trying to fight an infection. Hopefully you'll feel better, the scan results will be as expected, and you'll get back to kicking some tumor a**!

I don't have a fever this morning, thank GOD. But I am feeling a little nervous about today. You would think I'd approach it like it's "old hat" but for some reason I'm nervous about finding out the results of my scan. And I don't feel 100% yet from everything I've been through since I had the seizure and that concerns me with going on chemo. I'm trying to be upbeat about it but it's not easy.

Keep up the encouragement, I need it. And of course the prayers.

Dear God, I lift up Stacy to you. I thank you for the example she is to many others, of courage and of hope. I know, though, that she is nervous about today. I ask you to please comfort her and give her YOUR peace. I ask you to help her draw closer and closer to you, under the protection of your love and draw from your strength.
I pray for the doctors that are caring for Stacy, Lord. I ask you to please give them wisdom to treat her specifically. I ask you to please let Stacy hear good news from the results of her cat scan today. If the results are not what she hoped for, I pray that you will give her your
strength and your comfort.
Lord, I pray for Stacy's family and close friends. I can't even imagine how hard this is, to see the suffering she has had to endure. It is so hard to understand the sickness, crime and evil that is prevelant in our world
today...but your word tells us that this world is under the control of Satan and that you WILL return, that you will wipe away every tear. I know that you sent your own son to suffer so that we could have a relationship with you, out of love for us. I don't understand when I see someone as young and vibrant as Stacy suffer so. I pray you will help us to have faith in what the bible says, to
focus on you regardless of the trials we see here.
Lord, I thank you for the sweet strengh I see in Stacy, for the example she is. I pray for her day today, Lord, that you will help her to sense your presence with her as she goes through her doctor visit. I thank you for the encouragement so many have been to Stacy. I ask you to help her family to know her needs, to continue to assist her in whatever needs she many have, for encouragement and support. All these things I ask in Jesus' name....Amen

Stacy, I will continue to lift you up in prayer. Your website inspires me, and breaks my heart. You have gone through so much... With Love, Jenny

Jenny, I THANK YOU SO MUCH for your prayers!!! When someone openly prays for me, it brings tears to my eyes. I have overwhelming gratitude for the compassion that people are giving me. I've only actually met you once when Rodney brought me over to meet you and I thought so much of you. I love how you home school your children and openly show your faith in God.

Although I always could use the prayers, I am so happy you prayed for my family and friends. I always ask for Angels to be sent to sit on their shoulders as well because I know they need them also. I can't imagine being in their shoes. Often I have said that it's easier to be the patient, at least I know I'm doing everything I can. Family and friends often feel helpless and feel they can't do anything. I can't imagine how that feels from their perspective. I too pray for them, but I'm glad you did also.

Thank you for coming to my site and checking it out. I hope you visit again soon. Please tell Rodney hello for me. He was one of my favorite guys at the office, such a sweetheart. I hope your boy is doing well. I guess he's getting close to 3 now??
