Thanks for checking on me. I guess the chemo is going well. My white blood cell count dropped but not to a level that concerned them so I did get the second treatment. I haven't been as achy this week but my stomach is still a little funny. I can't eat very much.

Every night I go through about an hour where my temperature rises so I watch it very closely. I'm supposed to call the doctor if it get's above 100.5. But when it does get that high, it goes right back down. I'm always in the 99 range in the evenings and mornings. I will tell my doctor about it when I see him again. UNLESS, it stays at or above 100.5 for a continuous time.

I don't have much energy and my stamina is practically nill. I guess when I'm able to eat more and get more nutrition that will improve. I may have to start drinking "Boost" or "Ensure".

Again, thanks for checking on me!! Boy I miss the car cruises!!

Hi Stacy!

So you're having the typical Navelbine white cell reduction? That's to be expected, and it will go back up shortly. At least it didn't drop too low, and you were able to get your treatment. I hope it works well for you. I hope you're able to eat more soon!

Patrick and I just got back from OC today. Weather was GREAT the past 2 days. We had fun, though I didn't get to go parasailing! I did that last year, and wanted to do it again. Maybe I could get you up there with me!

Do you think your visit to OC was beneficial where Patrick is concerned??

I think it went well. We had a couple days of peace--no chores, no arguing--and we had fun. He still has a long way to go--he still didn't want to get any pictures of us together!
