Good Morning Stacy! I signed on the site this morning to let you know that I was thinking of you, and to tell you that I miss your creative holiday art. Then there it was, and it was a great to see!! I knew that you would not be down for long. However, it is ok to take time to regroup. I don't want to minimize the impact of the news--Jack and I know that it was hard, but we know that you have a great support system--one of the best--and that you are strong. You will get over this mountain too!! Seeing your Mother's Day message made my day!! Enjoy the sunshine and warmth of your family and the day, and remember God does hear our prayers!!! More later. Bonnie

Good Morning to you too! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Thank you so much for your prayers and letting me know how much you're thinking of me. That is more precious than I think most people realize.

I never "got down" after learning about the CT results but it was quite a bit to process. My doctor seemed hesitant to give me the copy of the report because he said that he thought once I read it... I would think I am significantly worse. He doesn't think I am. I don't agree with him.

The hardest part has been trying to figure out his reasoning. He STILL wants to keep me on the same drug even though the last three CT scans have shown growth while I've been on this drug. When we initially were talking a year and a half ago, he said he was going to try to put me in a remission. When I saw him a week ago, his comment was "you're paying me for a quality of life". I definitely want quality of life but I also want to continue working towards "quantity" of life. I see him again on May 16th. I really need to figure out where he's coming from.

Thank you so much for keeping up with my progress. I love hearing from you. I continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. Please tell Greg hello for me.

Hi Stacy, How was your day? I have been busy running around all day. I just arrived home and turned on Oprah, and she has a dog trainer on to help socialize her dog. You probably don't watch Oprah, and I am sure that your dogs are already socialized, but I did find it interesting.

I saw Greg yesterday and gave him your hello. He sends one back to you. He and Stephanie are getting ready to spend a week at the beach. Did you know that they have 3 dogs? We all love dogs. I have seen some cute pictures of yours on this site!

I hope that this has been a good day for you. It has really been a pretty one. Jack and I send our love and prayers! Bonnie

It was a beautiful day! I spent it at Goodyear getting my brake pads replaced and getting an oil change.

But then when I got home, I dug out my vegetable garden to put in soil that is specifically for vegetable plants. Then I mulched the area. Tomorrow I will plant my tomato and cucumber plants. Hopefully we are safe from anymore more frost.

I had heard about Greg's rottweiler. That was so sad. I knew Steph had a dog but I didn't know they now have three dogs!!! They are getting as bad as me!!

No, I don't usually watch Oprah. If I'm in the house at that time I usually have on the news. My dogs are VERY social with other people. They aren't fond of children though. But they LOVE adults.

It sounds like we are going to have gorgeous weather this week!! Maybe I'll get the chance to ride my scoot-ster!

Hi Stacy, Goodness, you were busy yesterday! I think that the frost is over. I think the general rule is no frost after the 15th, and we are close to that date. Jack planted more in the garden yesterday.

I agree with you about the doctor. I would find out what he is thinking, and let him know that you both need to be on the same page.

I think that you met Greg's dog Hammer---he had him when he lived in Reisterstown. When Greg got him, he was living alone in Reisterstown and I would go in everyday around lunch time to let Hammer out. Greg and Stephanie have a new rottweiler--Ice, and she is a sweet dog. She will not be as big as Hydro which is a good thing. Hydro was too big for me as I was a little afraid of her. She was never nasty, but her size frightened me. We were all so upset when she was killed. Hammer is my favorite. He is a small black and white dog. Do you remember him?

I have had a busy day. Casey and Ryan had only a half day of school. So I picked them up at noon plus two of their friends, and the four of us played all afternoon! Then this evening I took Casey to gymnastics. So I am going to close and watch some TV!! More later. Bonnie

Hi Bonnie! Yes, I remember Hammer. Michael and I babysat him while Greg was away one time. That's been quite a while ago. He was a sweet dog.

I didn't get to plant my vegetables today. I just felt like "taking the day off" today. I did do a little weed whacking but that's was the extent of my gardening.

Sunday is my brother's birthday, so the family took him out for crabs tonight. It's tradition for our family to take each other out for steamed crabs on our birthdays. I love it!! They were really good. We go to Bill's Terrace Inn in Essex.

Sure sounds like your grand-kids keep you busy!!! How is Jack doing these days?

I missed American Idol tonight. BUMMER!!!

Good Morning Stacy, I thought that you would remember Hammer. Stephanie has Bailey, a beagle, and the newest addition is Ice, a rottweiler. All dogs should live with you or Greg and Stephanie---what a life!!!

The scooter picture is a stitch!! You have a talented friend.

I would choose crabs over any TV program anytime!! Sounds as though you had a good evening. I am happy that you took the day off. I couldn't believe all that you had done the day before!!

I have been taking too many days off! Have a good day---it is to be beautiful again. I am going to get to work so that I can be outside later today!

Oh, I forgot to answer your question about Jack. He is doing well. I don't remember if I told you he had been diagnosised with Graves Disease before we left for FL in January. He had been having double vision and a lot of testing to find out what the problem was. Long story short--one of the causes could have been cancer of the rectus eye muscle, that was a scare because of his cancer history, but after every scan available and other testing it was Graves---God is good! He had a check up in April, and the doctor was pleased as the eye is better. It seems that 2 out of 3 will have the Graves disappear after a year. Jack's has not completely disappeared, but it is getting better. Graves is a thyroid problem, and all of Jack's blood work shows that the thyroid is now normal. Love and Prayers, Bonnie
