Hi Cliff. I had a real nice Easter. Mom, Dad, and Mark came over for dinner. I cooked fried chicken again and I have to say it was really really really good!!! Dag, I can really cook fried chicken!! We all spent the day together eating and looking at old pictures.

The day before, Mom and I went to Clinton, Maryland to see her sisters and a distant cousin that were up from North Carolina. We went out to lunch and then played cards (Rook) all afternoon. We had a real nice time.

THEN..... yesterday, me, Mom, her two sisters, and the distant cousin went to Millersville to visit with my great uncle and his wife. We went to Hella's for lunch and it was awesome!!!

I'm glad I'm on a break this week from chemo, I don't know how I'd fit everything in!!

How was your Easter? How is your dad doing?

I can't wait for the rain to stop, we need some major sunshine and warm weather!! I think we're overdue!!

My weekend was ok. I spent Saturday afternoon running all over town with Michelle, my girlfriend. Her son is taking guitar class in school, and loving it, and she wants to get him a nylon-string guitar for his birthday (next month). Needless to say, I'm assisting with that. We were hitting various music stores to see what's available, and what price she can expect. I THINK we found what we want. I had dinner at her place on Sunday. She fixed a nice dinner. Unfortunately, Patrick was acting like a whining little kid. This coming Saturday, Michelle is making a birthday dinner for her mom. I met her mom briefly last month, but this will be the first time that she gets to interrogate me like a communist spy. At least the food will be good!

CRAP!! I forgot, I'm not on break this week!! Good thing I looked at my calendar, I have chemo this week. Those two weeks sure went fast!

Sounds like you and Michelle are doing pretty good. Hey, you and her son have something in common, the guitar. Have you shown him anything yet? At least Michelle can cook, huh. A communist spy, huh? I would have thought she would have done that the first time she met you but I guess she didn't have enough time. I suppose you'll be on your best behavior. YEA RIGHT!

Yeah, things are going very well with Michelle. I think I'm going to keep her for a while! I've been warned that her mom hasn't been happy with Michelle's choices in boyfriends in the past--but I've also been told that she was probably RIGHT about it. So hopefully I'll break that that pattern. I haven't been showing Michelle's son much on the guitar. We've talked about guitar, but mostly just talk. He's learning very quickly at school, so I don't want to do anything that would conflict with way he's being taught now. Besides, he seems more interested in classical guitar, which is not really my thing.

My dad had chemo on Monday. Mom said it went well. So far, no side effects. But then, he's only had 2 sessions so far.
