I'm a fanatic when it comes to Anne Rice. I just eat up her books...mmmm. And I have both the movies on DVD, though they hardly do their paperback comrades justice.

But, Isis actually got her name when I was doing some personal research on Greek mythology...very interesting stuff. Like how in Roman times her "cults" actually rivaled that of the Christians. Or how she penetrated several lands with her "motherly" self. Heh, even some sources suggested that the family of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus was actually derived from the family of Isis, Osiris, and Horus.

Actually, I'm rather relieved that Kate decided on the name Tarquin instead of Horus...just too predictable.
