The smiling sun god threw warm beams of buttery sunlight towards earth, bathing the aptly named Isle in a sea of golden rays. The stocky sorrel stud was leaning against a convenient palm tree, rubbing his newly healed side gingerly against the rough bark in an attempt to assuage the incessant itching of the wound. A shrill melody floated on the breeze, halting the lazy scratching session. Black-tinged thorns swivelled, trying to pinpoint the location of the caller. Within moments, his quarry had been located, mahogany visionaries falling on his longtime, dark-eyed friend. Loco! She had found them!

Pushing off from the tree, Hex forced his legs into motion, the lanky appendages picking up a rolling lope. His crimson-stained frame barrelled towards her, head held high and eyes wide. He slid to a stop mere feet before her, obsidian flints sinking low in the shifting sands. Nares flared as he inhaled deeply, matching up her scent and assuring himself that it was indeed Loco who had arrived. A gleam of childish happiness lit his dark facade. It had been ages since either he or Takara had seen Loco, ages since he had relinquished Wildflower Canyon to take the position he had been groomed for since birth. Swinging his hindend around, he bumped his hip against her in his customary way of greeting friends. Deep baritone rumbled out, his lyrics liberally laced with a happiness that was unmistakeable.

"Loco! Where y'at, chere? It's good to see you again."
