Infuriated opticals of the tawny seraph soon fell upon the carcass of one not yet engaged in a skirmish, and a trumpet of challenge was issued forth to him upon her approach. Her appendi had brought the vix close enough to focus clearly upon the unwelcome challenger, and a sneer spread across her fixtures. She'd had her share of challenges, protecting both herself and the foal when they were alone- she wasn't worried. Stopping herself at enough of a distance to avoid immediate attack, the henna sphinx kept both chasms turned on the overly confident czar.

Sneering again, Chime surveyed her advantages for another time. He was taller than her, though not much, but she was lighter, no doubt more agile. She wouldn't be foolish enough to start this though- let him come to her. Go on then. You start this chess game.
