Females were scary, he had decided a while ago, along with males, but the so called fairer sex was always more vicious. Just his luck that he would have to hold them off. But the juvinile arrogance that was developing refused to let him run and he caught sight of the faint metallic ears, like two sharp spear ends amongst the darkness a split second before the launched attack. Without much time to think, he ducked, looking very odd and possibly creating a most comical effect but he hoped that it would do the trick. Ah! Left, or right? He went to the right (for the right side is always the right choice) but untrained and relying mostly on his agility and relexes, not strength the diamond hooves fell against the slender neck. Blood was most certainly drawn and it hurt. Why others ever thought that hurting onself was fun, he would never comprehend. But owwie...that was painful and he pivoted sharply to the side, an instinctive kick with the hindleg in the general direction, not really expecting to hit anything. But a vague warning, and allowing him to collect himself.
