I liked it for the most part. The issue surrounding Hypertrichosis was probably what kept me tuned in the whole time. For what I didn't like: the Sara and Sophia interaction. It was okay in A Bullet Runs Through It, but now Sophia looks petty. And Sara was pretty passive during the whole exchange, if I may say so.

I guess I understand that maybe the writers are still trying to find the Sophia character. Especially after she truly believed she had killed another officer a few episodes ago. I might believe that she's still bitter and unsure of herself after that incident, maybe.

When the techies barged into autopsy to take pics of the 'wolfman'. It really seemed out of character for Archie, Hodges and Techie number three...but again, I guess I understand why the writers threw it in there. It showed the other side. The natural curiosity of humans and their fascination with the abnormal. *sigh* Even after all that rationalization, I still didn't like the scene.

Another Sophia thing...when she's on the air longer than Nick, Warrick or Brass...you know the show has too many characters to follow in the span of an hour. I don't hate Sophia, but she is a secondary character. And while Brass is not a CSI, he's in the opening credits. I wish I had seen more of him.

What did you think?

[> First of all, Brass has been the center figure for quite a few episodes this season, so perhaps the actor is just taking a break. Also, I'm with you - way too much Sophia last night. I'm biased, I suppose, since I've disliked her from the start, but I miss the "boys" too. The exchanges between Sara and Sophia were definitely forced; not sure if that's due to underlying issues concerning Grissom, or simply two women who don't care for each other. Time will tell. The story was saddening, yet interesting. My heart went out to poor Allison, but she'll be all right now that her mother has returned. All in all, I enjoyed the hour. -- DJEgirl... only too little Grissom. We needed more of him!, 19:31:58 01/06/06 Fri [1]

[> [> You are right about Brass being the center piece for many episodes. I still missed him. ;) I also felt unfullfilled, because I really wanted to see Allison's mother actually go in the house! I wanted proof that she was going to try and be her mother again, you know? I'm just gonna have to hope that it all ended up okay. -- Double E =), 23:48:40 01/06/06 Fri [1]

[> [> [> I think her taking a deep breath and knocking on the door was to be a sign to us fans that Allison would be cared for and loved. I agree, it wasn't enough... but at least we were given that. -- DJEgirl... get WMM fixed yet? *grin* Going through video withdrawls!, 10:25:19 01/07/06 Sat [1]

[> [> [> [> I do have a new video program, just haven't been able to upload anything to my site. Mostly due to lack of funds to buy an uploader and partly due to time constraints. One of these days, I will get back into the video business. haha -- Double E, 12:13:28 01/09/06 Mon [1]
