Every ref in the NRL each week is under pressure so they must be able to handle it otherwise they would not have gotten this far - and to actually attack him when all we do is sit back and watch it from a TV screen is very weak from your part - if your a ref as you say you are, why not trying to back them up instead of attacking them they way you have.
Also, I would not call 33 games in the NRL as a handful - he has to gain the experience somehow and to be quite honest thought he handled the match overall very well. Perhaps your roosters got beaten which could be more an issure for yourself.
You speak of Gavin Badger - yes he has been around longer but lets not forget he was dropped to reserve grade last year and has only done 10 more games than Maxwell - get your facts straight before attacking them - they cop enough from the Goulds of the world.
