I'm watching manly v parra at the moment. Really kool seeing the officials in the long sleeve white jumper and long shorts. Pity the collars weren't starched and worn turned up ala Keith Page in the '73 Grand final ;)

A bit disappointing re the socks - all black. The old socks pre 1976 if i recall were navy blue with a light blue fold over at the top. what happened there ?

Also disappointing that the touchies were both carrying a red flag. What happened to the one red and and blue flag ?

If you aren't going to put 100% effort into the heritage theme then it just comes off as a half assed effort in my opinion.

Next year - Do it properly, or dont do it at all.
