New Zealand Warriors v Penrith - 31.8.08

How would you feel if you're a touch judge and a player spits at you. You report this assault (and it IS an assault) to the referee who puts the matter on report.

I'm sorry Ben Cummins but that's disgraceful refereeing and you've let down your mate, big time

Wade McKinnon should have been immediately sent off no questions asked.

Putting the matter on report was weak refereeing and also comes across as having a lack of faith or belief in your touch judges opinion.

POOR POOR FORM from Cummins. Weak as water.
