I wholly agree, Greg. Mr Gould is a blight on the game at the grass roots level in particualar. I watch referees correctly rule on Safe-Play incidents every week and I am absolutely amazed at the number of players, parents, spectators and even coaches, who I continually hear abusing and yelling at our young referees "Phil Gould reckons that tackle's OK!" Unfortunately Mr Gould is totally ignorant of the effect that his reckless statements have on our game at large and the sooner he is muffled the better the game will be for the rest of us who aren't on TV every week.
