In fairness to you, this weeks appointments were announced after you posted this.

Simpkins was never going to get the Grand Final after he hooked Wade McKinnon at Campbelltown a few weeks ago.

Clark will never referee a 1st Grade Grand Final - this simply because he is an angry man.

Hampstead has refereed well this year - unlucky to miss out.

Archer has been the big improver but will play 2nd banana to this years Grand Final referee . . .

The greatest referee ever to pull on the boots - has the respect of all the players, knows all the rules off by heart and has never made a mistake in his refereeing career - just ask David Peachey, he'll back me up.

His speed in ruling on at mutual infringement in goal the other night - don't worry - he knew the rule! He was just having a bit of fun with Tim Mander upstairs to see if he knew it!

Plus the fact that he referees like Bill - ( well thinks he does anyway )

Good luck Shayne - and may messrs Lyons and Cheechin look after you. Oh yeah - they'll be his touchies.

It's a very good looking trio too - don't you think??
