Subject: Hopelessly Unprofessional NRL

Two weeks ago I wrote the following email to the NRL via its website -

"Greetings,

I refer to this link on the NRL website -

http://www.nrl.com.au/Referees/tabid/290/Default.aspx

Today i watched the NZ v England test match on TV and heard the lead commentator introduce the referee Tony Archer by saying "I refer to the NRL website which states that Tony has officiated 104 matches".

Immediately I knew this comment was incorrect.

However when I checked your site and went to the link Ive supplied you above I find that your site is supplying APPALINGLY out of date information. All of the stats supplied on the NRL site regarding these referres are current as at the start of the 2006 season ... TWO SEASONS OUT OF DATE !!!

Could you please correct this error ASAP because an overseas TV coverage has just made the info on the NRL website look like its being run by amaters.

Your reply would be appreciated."


How disgusting that the NRL site is so far out of date that it hasnt updated the referees profiles for TWO YEARS !

Also disgusting is that my email didnt receive a reply.

I urge everyone to send the NRL a complaint email via their website to raise this issue.
