When I first moved to Hethersett five years ago, I found walking my dogs around the pit area quite distressing with regards to the bikers. But over time, I have chosen to befriend the boys on their bikes and have found them to be polite, respectful, and keen to make the most of their youth away from the brain drain of technology. I still don't like the noise of the engines when I walk my dogs - but this is short lived once I round some beautiful bend with a different view. And I hasten to add - I clear up any poo that is deposited by my three dogs. That which has not been cleared up by another dog owner, and is in my path, I kick to the side as a gift to the next person in my tracks.
