• He closted the door to the penthouse apartment and put the bolt on, flicking all the lights on with a single switch. His mom had been by- all the blinds were down and their was a distict smell of her lasagne coming from the kitchen. He smirked a little, grateful for what she did for him in her subtle little ways. He glanced to Ash as she spoke, nodding a little in agreement as he rested a hand in the middle of her back and guided her towards the kitchen "Yeah I know... It would be hard." She went about getting the lasagna out and cooled off, making plates for both of them with a generous serving of bread to go with them before she carried them over to the table and set them down.   • She was desperately trying to keep a calm head about this and not just lead with her emotions. Her heart wanted her to just curl up in his lap, kiss him senseless and then have him take her to bed. She bit her lip softly and instead cleared her throat, her brow furrowed gently. • She had no clue where he had been the night before and right now her suspicions about Nikita were laid aside in favor of worrying about him. Jessie spotted him first, yelling out. "Daddy's home! Mommy! Daddy is home!" The little girl ran over to her daddy, hugging his legs tightly before Ash came out, letting out a soft breath as she saw him.
