The General Assembly
Realizing the AIDS issues

The General Assembly,

Realizing that all countries have dignity and self worth of the human person, there is an issue on how effective we are on how much the UN is helping people of their country in solving their problems, such as the world crisis of AIDS. In which, this aid can assist many people and even maybe save their lives,

Aware that the relationship between the different UN issues and the AIDS crisis might seem as a smaller concerns then the other problems such as terrorism and the different wars that are going on but this dilemma can grow bigger and harder to handle if the UN does not improve education, protection and financial aid to this concern,

I. Express deep concern:

(A) The appalling story is that there are not enough free information to notify all girls around the world who need to understand their rights and how to take care of themselves to prevent health mishaps like AIDS;

(B)The amounts of people who get affected by AIDS is growing each day the majority of them are women. Even though, there are some places with information the women who get affect with AIDS are mostly abused sexually so they have fear for more abuse that they don't access information;

(C) In Argentina 65.6 percent of women who have AIDS are under the age of 30. Argentina�s is trying to find ways to lower the amount of young girls and women who get affected;

II. Is Aware That

(A) Realizes that in 1988, the gender ratio for people with AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) was one woman for every 14.5 men with the disease. The ratio today is one woman to 3.2 men.

(B) Recognizes that the government of Argentina has a tired to improve AIDS on its own while other countries try to save people with AIDS also but it would be easier to help everybody if the UN took a greater concern in the conflict within the AIDS crisis.

(C) Is aware that AIDS among children in Argentina is seven percent, the highest in Latin America, and 97 percent of the cases are the result of mother-to- child infection,

III Recommends

(A) That the UNAIDS:

1. Strongly look over how serious this problem is;

2. Forcefully call for all countries to report how much they have improved over the years in less increasing AIDS using the measures of reports and statistics;

3. Impose economic goals to help the services that are already giving free information to young adults like protection and where and how to get tested for any infection;

4. Set up a council that will determine the monetary cost of the of support in scientific studies to help find the cure for AIDS;

5. Set up tributary with in the UN to assist other councils in their need for support since they are non-funded programs

6. Communicate the intent to use force to restore the dignity and self worth to live and improve of the people of the UN.
