Chilie Kylie Williams
The General Assembly
AIDS Around the globe

The General Assembly,

Realizing that all countries have a right to live with equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, yet their are 467,910 people with HIV/AIDS just in the United States alone. While it is estimated that 200,000 people in the Latin America and the Caribbean were infected with HIV/AIDS in 2003, and that a total of 2 million adults and children are living with HIV/AIDS today. Also, at least 100,000 people in theLatin America and the Caribbean died from AIDS in 2003.

Expresses Deep Concern

(A) We as the people need to stop this or find a decint resolution that can save these people that are infected as well as the ones that may become infected in a coming age.

(B) With this many more people dying and becoming infected each year the numbers of our contries population is dwindleing by the hundereds of thousands.

Is Aware That

(A) Recognizes AIDS is a big issue for the UN and they have been dealing with it.

(B) Also that many people have been trying to find a resolutin for the disscrimination, sickness, ect

III Recommends

(A) That the UN Aids Council

We have spent more money on the war against Terroirsm, money that could be used to save patients instead of kill a probable terrorist.
We should use this money for HIV/AIDS reaserch instead of killing off more people

2. Education to those around the globe.
If people know what could happen to them then they may be a little more careful.

3. Build more treatment centers
The people with HIV/AIDS may be hopeless(if we are unable to find a cure) but we should do our best to help them.
