This is just incredible. So many mentally ill people, especially bipolar, try to medicate themselves with alcohol and drugs when there is no help available. I hope Fieger squeezes them dry. So typical of Government - wait for a tragedy and then investigate. Where was her concern when the mental health facilities were closed.

It's really no different anywhere else; we've had inmates die in jail that should have been sent to hospitals. Their families are quietly paid off and they go right on ignoring the problem. Hits the front page once, then goes to the "Local" section - then nothing.
