>Ohho! What were you like as a teenager?
I had purple and pink hair, smoked at age 16, and had a boyfriend that kept my father armed and ready at all times.
>Oh dear, don't you go all country bumpkin on me.
>Kelsey's drawl is about all I can handle. ;)
Country bumpkin?! LOL. I think American accents are nice! I grew up with a French dad and a British mom, both with thick accents, so I think all the American accents are beautiful. Well, at least you can understand them! My dad had a cockney accent, for goodness sake! lol I hope I'm not that bad, but I tend to take up the E End accent once in a while too! GUH!
>He's just dating her. You could say that he's "nice"
>and "respectful" and all that other crap, but, mostly?
>He's dating her. The little roach. Grr. :D
LOL! You would have gotten along SO WELL with a friend of mine and Kelsey's, named Wolf! Kindreded spirits, you two would'dda been.
>I'll remember that.
;)
>GAHH! I love NZ! ....Sorry. :D I don't know about
>China or Morocco, though.
Have you ever been to NZ? It's spectacular there. Completely brilliant!
>hahaha! That's funny. And you were fine when you were
>flying pregnant? I just get a tiny bit nervous when it
>comes to my girls, is all.
Aww, they're already "your girls"! Ahem, /end girlie moment. But yes, I was fine. A little more nauseous than usual, but that's easily taken care of.
>As most bosses are. :)
I don't know of any that compare to mine, though! lol
>Absolutely. I'm a fast thinker, and I'm a puzzle kind
>of guy. Sometimes I get really overwhelmed by my job,
>but that's why the guys in our unit get such great
>vacation time. :D
lol! Well, that's a good insentive!
>In all seriousness though, I'm surprised to be where I
>am. I hated cops growing up. I was a horrible teen,
>really, and the cops were my enemy. Then I saw that
>there was more in law enforcement than meter maids,
>traffic cops, and the curfew patrol. (I mean, bless
>all them and what have you, but god, I could never do
>that.)
Tell me about it. To me, most cops are still the enemy. That's mainly because I get pulled over for speeding almost everytime I get on the highway. I mean, the speedlimit is 60... I start going 65... and my car can move, mate, so I press it to 70... 75... 80... I mean, I can almost hear my car going “Let me run, let me run!”. I think that's about as fast as I've gotten before I start hearing the sirens... at least on city streets. ;)
But I guess that I have a lot of respect for cops, well, the ones that don’t stalk me on the freeway. I mean, it takes guts to do what you all do. If my hubby were a police officer/detective/whatever else, I would be scared shitless, and I know Kelsey is scared outta her mind for you when you’re at work, too.
