Subject: Two Angels Waiting in Heaven

July 3, 1987, Jacob Lee Duncan was born, the most beautiful baby in the world. I had no idea he would only be staying for awhile. He had a severe case of Spinal Bifida. He lived a total of 15 days, and we loved him so much. Little did we know that 15 years later he would have alittle brother join him. On July 27th 2001, I gave birth to twins 8 weeks premature. Shayden and Shaydee were to be the last of our family. Shaydee was small and strong, but Shayden had trouble breathing. He was diagnosed with a Diaphramatic Hernia. They said he would have surgery and be fine. (I asked if the Jacob and Shayden's birth defects were related and I was told no, you have been struck by lightning twice.) After 7 surgerys and a long hard battle, Shayden went to heaven at the age of 16 months. It was the longest 16 months of my life. But our percious boy taught us so much about love, and trust. He was our angel. His big black eyes and beautiful smile were breath taking. If you can trust the Lord with what he is doing in your life and do his will, he will give you the strenght to get through anything. God loves us and only wants the best for us. Why do these things happen, I don't know. But God knows. Some people say "How sad, you had twins and one died. Now, one is all alone." But she is not alone she has a sister, and 3 brothers and a Dad & Mom who love her. She also has 2 guardian angles watching and waiting for the day that our family will be reunited in heaven. God Bless, Kim
