Hi Denise,
Welcome back!

I am not young either. Nearly 44 years chronologically, but tend to think more about philosophical stuff which usually one does at an older age. Standard IQ tests have me scoring near the scale of 120, so that put me in the region of 53 years at mental age!

I agree that fairy tales are for the young... but I do not think what we felt is a fairy tale because they are based on real feelings. We did not intentionally construct any false hopes because it would otherwise mean that we have cheated ourselves. It was plain honest truth that we have shared. So, is truth evil? Or have we been deluded by lack of faith? Can any human be a truly fair judge?

I have had my share of soul-searching many times, and each time I came out more convinced that I have to learn personally through these experiences (be they labelled "good" or "evil" by others). The learning must be experienced by oneself... others cannot truly experience these things (though some may try to be empathic and 'feel' what you are going through).

No religion has ever directly proven the existence of the spiritual realm, and yet we believed because of the existence of beautiful physical phenonmena of the Divine. Likewise, TS is a belief system that can be 'proven' by what the heart felt. Logic understands logic, love understands love. No one says Good exists because of the presence or an absence of Evil, but we know Good exists because it is felt as Love.

I understand that the temple of God lies within and is omnipresent, not in any particular physical location and time. It is in this inner dimension that we can hear the "still, small voice" (Elijah in 1 Kings 19:12).

Perhaps, the best way to seek the Great Counsel is to "go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray... to your Father who is in the secret place" (Christ in Mathew 6:6)

I hope I am not confusing anyone. If the Divine is Unconditional Love and Untainted Truth, then what we felt is certainly not Evil.

Blessed are the peacemakers!
Alvin
