Date Posted: 14:16:11 01/16/05 Sun In reply to: Alvin 's message, "It's sown and grown here!" on 23:47:05 01/15/05 Sat Dear Alvin, I am so sorry! I thought I communicated clearly. Evidently, I did not do that. I will tell you the story again. While my husband and I were still living in Singapore, my twin soul and his wife planted the beautiful garden bordered with Sunflowers in our backyard here in Studio City, CA. I met my twin soul here in Studio City quite a few years before I met my husband. I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. Here, however, is an interesting story about how I met my husband. I had an online friend who frequented the harp forum I created on AOL. She was diagnosed with melanoma. So I asked for people to send her their blessings and prayers on all the forums and newsgroups I frequent. My future husband responded. So we began e mailing each other several times a day. Then came the exchange of phone numbers. He asked me to marry him through an e mail. Then I went to Singapore, and we arranged to get married. Six weeks later, we married in Singapore. Now at that time, meeting your spouse online was not all that common as it is today. And it was certainly not that way in Singapore. While we were still there, the film entitled " You've Got Mail " came to Singapore. And my cousin-in-law knew a journalist for the Straights Times. I am sorry I forgot how to spell it. Well, we were not interviewed by a journalist from that paper. But we were interviewed by someone from I think Newtimes. And our story appeared in that paper. Much later, we came to this country. About three weeks after our arrival, The Straights Times wanted to do a follow-up on our story. Back to my online friend. The last I heard she had been cancer-free for over a year. I last communicated with her while I was still in Singapore. Then she disappeared. Everybody on the harp forum was asking about her. We all tried to email her. None of us have heard from her. I am hoping the best for her. Love And Blessed Be, Theresa [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
