I don't know if you will return to look at this post Kashi but I do apologize for calling a name, it was impolite of me. There are so few of us kriyabans in the world we should have great respect for each other.

I value yoganiketan tremendously and never thought for a minute it had a motive for money. I also dont claim to be any authority on "traditional" kriya, besides that I am just a baby in the yogic path--a sincere practitioner at best.

I don't deny that many lines I have heard of or talked to require the kechari before K2. Yogananda himself says in K2 of SRF of kechari that "this method MUST be practiced"...however there is not much help in doing so given. There is ambiguity all over. I am irritated at this juncture on this topic and it boiled over at a late hour of the night. Please do forgive me.

Kriyananda says Yogananda on his gita commentary would say "it means this---then again this, and this...." It is hard for a westerner to deal with. I suspect Lahiri was the same...he may well have told a few people they did not need kechari for higher kriyas.

Honestly, I have talked to people from diffrent lines and I see no essential diffrences in their thokar and SRF's. More on this in private email.

But yoga is much individual. I don't argue SRf routine is designed to do greatest good for greatest number. This makes sense.

I want to talk to someone that actually experiences why the mouth breath is good for some and not for others. I hope you can give a good opinion or one of your Dadu. I will much appreciate.

I will find your email at yoganiketan and write you. I do appreciate what you shared in this post and previous posts.
