Interesting thoughts. And I respect that. You have every right to your views.

I rather not get into messy discussion as there is no end to it. Plus this is a Kriya discussion board. However, I would add the following:

When individuals or a group of individuals start classifying the people in relation to their either spiritual understanding or economic or spiritual attainment, in long run it creates problems of delusions and illusions. It breeds the ego as a chosen people or chosen race and so forth.

I found this interesting quote from one of the web site -
>>>>Blessed are the Bengalis; for they received the Original Kriya Path. Right from the Mahamuni's principal Kriya disciple, Lahiri Mahasay, to the present day all the Original Kriya Masters (Guru-param-para - lineage of Guru) 99.9% are Bengalis. They used Om (representing Mahamuni) in Bengali Script. That is why the Bengali Script of Om is used traditionally over the Devnagiri Script to represent him. He has not given his photo to the world. Mahamuni's photo cannot be taken by a camera. A camera failed to take Lahiri Mahasay's photo; it was possible only when his permission was granted. Produced here is the only photo of Lahiri Mahasay in black and white (original). <<<< This is a typical fundamentalist statement.

In short, humans are conditioned to believe what makes them comfortable. It is very threatening when one is challenged for his or her primitive survival strategy and cultural conditionings. To understand such things is a challenge in itself. This is all power struggle and will continue as long as the universe exists. It has nothing to do with self-realization.

"The religion of your upbringing is like a cloak. You have to know how it is made to take it off.” - From “Yellow Book"

One has to be out of the environment and culture to see the good and not so good of any culture or fundamentalist concepts.

Each and every concept (Kalpana) should be challenged within one’s own self and to be experienced to realize them as they are. This “Kalpana” word used by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj really hit hard. He would shout to people “kalpana kalpana” . Once we remove the kalpana, there remains Nothing. Most of the kalpanas are given to us thru culture and envoronment.
