The girl's name came back to her while she walked, and she wondered vaguely why she cared. The child was a product of rape, not by an ordinary mortal but by a demon who's main intent was to create a new hybrid, formed from Forgotten and Demon blood. Tiani looked harmless enough, but what kind of child was she in truth? As she walked she sensed the presence of a wolf pack, and silently commanded them away, to hunt somewhere else. She did it not because she was angry at them, but because she was no fit company for them. The herbs she had gathered would be sufficient for a meal for the three of them, and the lakeside at which she gathered them would be a good place for a swim. Diving into the crystal clear waters she swam deep, banishing the illusion of clothing, letting the icy cold waters cleanse her body of the dirt and other materials while it calmed her spirit with the tranquil movement of wind and wave. Surfacing she wondered how Jin was coping with the girl.
