It's a cold gloomy day here in Md. They promise we will get rain this weekend which is badly needed. As long as it isn't snow. Jim is off at the country. I've been working a lot lately because Dr. Kane's office is without a nurse. I figure I'll work more now and hopefully be able to slack off when the nice weather arrives. John is spending the weekend with me. We got his "no More' overnights situation straightened out--he has 7 more till July and they can give us 5 more if needed. Always some crisis with his residential care that requires time and effort from us. Last week we had to make his funeral arrangements for the state in advance. That was not a fun thing to do , but necessary if we wanted a choice.
Julie called this week and her kids are sick with ear infections and bronchitis, hopefully they"ll improve in time to enjoy Cole's 3rd birthday tomorrrow. John got laid of on Thurs so he is job hunting. The say the weather is great now in Phoenix.
Allison called to say Morgan had Scarlet Fever. She's on antibiotics and is hopefully feeling better by now. Joe was at the Va--Duke B'ball game that night. Since I didn't have much hope for a win I went to bed at half time. Boy was I surprised and happy to see in the morning that Va had won. Don't know if they can pull off that same surprise at Md Sunday--Md's last game at Cole Field House-- they have a new arena for next year.
Marty is very busy with tax season and the end of the quarter.
Julie made their reservations to come to Md for July 6th. They will spend the 1st week with John's family and then join us at the beach the 14th--20th, they are flying back out of Norfolk on Sat., so we are very much looking forward to their visit.
We were very sorry to hear of Carrie"s problems of the last week, but it sounds like she got good care. Hope they will still be able to enjoy her free Cancuun vacation.
I hear Mom grumbling about income tax. Jim has been working on ours too. The govt just always seems to want more money.
Hope Ryan is continuing to win in the basketball tournaments. I know Jessie will be happy with her same daily students. Kristy, I never enjoyed Psych much but I did do my training in a private institution so I probably haven't seen half of what there is to learn about mental disease. Hope Linda is enjoying her Nevada trip.
