"I might do that... Call me when you're close to being back?" Her fingers tugged absently at his jacket to straighten it and then wordlessly zipped it up - it was getting late and it had been getting colder and colder at night out there. "You should hurry. But drive safely." She added with another small smile, eyes up on him. --

He nodded a bit, smiling gently as he looked down at her tenderly, he didn't really want to leave her alone either but it was just one of those things that he could not coddle her about. She needed to maintain her indapendance. It was kind of like when you fell off a horse, you had to just get right back on.
