Subject: Her features just softened at the response that their lively daughter always had to the feel of her daddy's touch and a smile lingered over her features a little as she watched him head back for the kitchen. "Alright. Tell Sirus his mommy wants to see him after he eats." She knew that there was no point in trying to convince the dog to visit her before he had his dinner - he wasn't unlike Brett in that way, for sure. Nestling back into the pillows and pulling the blanket back up to her chin, she smiled brightly at his called out suggestion. "Definitely. We need a little girl to match the boy." They'd talked before about getting a 'girlfriend' for Sirus, and though she already figured he wanted something big and tough to keep her company when both boys were gone, she figured a female shepherd would do just fine.

  • She'd talked about getting a girlfriend for Sirus which had promptly made Brett sit down and explain to his boy that girls were more trouble than they were worth and if a girl dog came to live with them it would be Sirus's job to keep her in her place. "I think I am going to go look around tomorrow while you're at lamaze." For right now, she was going by herself and he would be attending classes starting...he had to look at the calander...next week with her. He wasn't sure he wanted a puppy, maybe a dog who was already five or six months old and easily trainable...it was something they would need to discuss. "Definitely a girl, huh?"
