I know you just took a bath..." He smiled sheepishly shrugging. "Nevermind, go lay back down and I'll join you in just a few minutes ok? I'll bring you icecream." He smiled again before he picked up his shirt and headed towards the bathroom to take a quick shower. He actually didn't feel like lingering beneath the hot spray, he wanted to curl up in bed with his soon to be wife. --

She smiled quietly at that and then returned his kiss adoringly before playfully snapping the waistband of his boxers and giving him a gentle nudge in the direction of the bathroom. She did definitely love keeping him company in the shower any time, but he just looked so much like he was ready for bed that she agreed with his change of mind - she had just gotten out of the bath earlier. She tidied up what was left of the mess in the kitchen - not much really because he'd put most everything away already - and then flipped off all the lights and returned to their bedroom.
