It's a pleasure, lady Lisolette. And please, call me Kai. The former, I'm afraid, is something of a mouthful. Precious breath should be saved.
`He chuckled a little at himself, deep vocals booming like the rumbling of thunder on a stormy day. A glint of interest swirled in his glowing set of marbles as they kindly washed over her frame. Oh, forgive me, I'm a bit worn out from my long journey. Are you, too, new to these lands?

As he sits down before her, she arches her neck into a delicate 'U' in order to better study him. The warm breeze passes over the two, and the sun begins to set far in the distance, ever the silent observer. The golden light slowly fades, reluctant to give up its throne high in the sky. Soon, the shimmering rays of the dying sun will be replaced by the silver carresses of the mysterious moon. In this twilight hour, the creatures of the night awaken and stir, eager to begin their nightly hunting or foraging. Lisolette allows her keen senses to take it all in: the sweet smell of the night finally arriving, the radiance the warm sun brought slowly melting away to the coolness of the evening. Her ghostly eyes hesitantly leave Kai's form only to be transferred to two small songbirds retreating to their cozy nest to sleep away the unknown night. Again, her gaze locks with his, and she opens her mouth to speak.
"I'm relieved to hear that I am not the only dragon to have come to these lands recently. I too am weary of my long and arduous trek."
Her eyes wander once more, surveying the land, its rocky mountains lying far in the distance and plush hills a more welcoming sight residing closer to the two dragons' current location. She stretches her front limbs before her, relaxing her tense muscles, and a yawn follows in tow.
"I'm afraid I have not yet found a place I can sleep. Do you know of somewhere safe, Kai? I would be most grateful if you could tell me, as I am so very tired and unfamiliar with the terrain." She smiles warmly after her request has been stated, but the smile falters when a deep rumbling emanates from the pits of her empty stomach. She lowers her gaze, embarrassed, but quickly redeems herself with another kind smile.

I, too, am unfamiliar to this terrain, but I would be pleased to explore around and find you someplace safe to rest. And perhaps a midnight snack would sound appealing?
`He flashed her a toothy half-grin, childish in nature. His massive wings stretched out in preparation for flight, thin membranes gleaming iredescently in the newfound moonbeams. His hind pistons rise under his massive frame in support, his thick neck swiveling around. His marbles scanned the terra around him, glowing softly in the dark. Then his lamps set their crossfires back on the pale form in front of him, his skull tilting curiously`

She curiously watched as the large male dragon spread his magnificent wings, and took note of how the new glow from the silver orb slowly ascending the sky lit them, framing his form in a dull yet breathtaking radiance. She sighed in relief, knowing a meal was soon to be coming her way, but she was reluctant to again take to the sky. Her wings were weary and ached from her tiresome journey. The only thoughts able to penetrate the recesses of her mind were those of food and sleep. She knew the sooner the hunt was over, the sooner Kai would help her find a safe spot to rest her aching body.
"I do admit that nothing sounds more pleasing than a fine meal," Lisolette said with a smile in her tone. She then spread her own wings, making sure to stretch them to be rid of any kinks that might have gathered there during her period of rest. Soon, the sparse grass covering the rocky terrain around them was pinned to the ground as she beat her wings mightily in thoughtless effort to suspend the dragoness in the warm night air.
The cold light emanating from the moon reflected off her white scales, creating an illusion of a ghostly demon hovering not far about the earth. She was soon circling higher and ever higher into the night, scanning the horizons for any information they would be willing to yield. She breathed deeply with the glory of flying, the sensation never failing to please her to her very core. However, she also filed away every scent the wind brought to her, her mind alert to any smell of prey. Finding none, she glanced below her, making sure that Kai was well on his way. When she found that he was almost caught up, she took off, eager to begin the hunt.

She looked simply radiant in the moonlight, her ivory scales gleaming. Soon, his own attempt to suspend himself was proceeding, the beating of his large wingspan causing the blades of grass to move. He did a flip in midair just for fun, and stretched his massive membranes to their full extent. He rose in the air, the wind toying with his makeshift mane. His glowing marbles watched the femme as she took off, and he soon followed. His pace was fast in order to catch up with her, but once he was at her side, he slowed. His scaled novas flared to take in the scents, ready for any trace of the scent of prey below. His keen optics stayed alert, scanning the terrain below him. Seeing nothing, he decided they would have to keep moving and find a more desolate area in order to snag what they seeked` EpItHeT: Mitsukai MoLdEd: Masculine MoOnS pAsSeD: Unknown BrAnDeD: Western Dragon CuRrEnT aLlEgIaNcE: Light .I bOw OnLy To ThE gOdS oF wAtEr.

She sensed the big male as he caught up with her, and bent her long neck back in order smile at him in the encroaching darkness. The warm wind whizzing past her as she glided into the night sent shivers down her spine, and she closed her eyes with happiness. This truly was a beautiful land, and she was ecstatic that she had chosen to come here. Her wings beat slowly and steadily, simply assuring her a safe place in the sky. The dark forms flying past them far below on the earth took on the shapes of phantoms and specters, though she knew better.
She glanced over at Kai just beside her, noting the way he soared majestically and the way his wings cut through the air effortlessly. Then (she knew not whether she simply hadn't noticed it before or if it never registered in her mind), she noticed the webbing between his formidable talons. Having neither seen nor smelled any sign of prey, she decided to make conversation.
"Kai, I hope you do not mind my asking, but from where do you hail?"

His scaled novas flare to take in a deep breath of the air, his armored chest rising and falling dramatically. He caught her gaze and followed it to his massive claws, and a grin spread on his maw. He turned his attention on her for a moment as she spoke, and then he replied to her words gently, his deep voice like rolling thunder on the horizon.
Not at all, m'lady. I was born in a land where we lived in both land and water, though I'm not exactly sure of the title. We just called it home. Since we were able to live in multiple environments, I was born with this.
.With his other claw, he gestured to the webbing about his scaled digits and his headdress. His marbles gleamed curiously towards her, a cock of his dial given to her in the warm night air.
And if you don't mind me asking, where is it that you hail from, m'lady? EpItHeT: Mitsukai MoLdEd: Masculine MoOnS pAsSeD: Unknown BrAnDeD: Western Dragon CuRrEnT aLlEgIaNcE: Light .I bOw OnLy To ThE gOdS oF wAtEr.

The snow-white dragoness listened intently as Kai briefly explained his origins. She nodded in understanding when he finished, her eyes sparkling with interest. Again, she glanced towards his remarkably unusual claws, her curiosity gradually subduing. One thought stuck stubbornly in her mind, though: He was able to live in water as well as on land. How was it possible? The very concept eluded her grasping mind.
"My homeland is not so different from what you see before you," she said in her velvety soft voice. "I simply left because there was dissension among two old dragon families, and it was becoming too dangerous for me to remain there." She concentrated hard on detecting a sign of any roaming herds, but a troubled look shaded her ghost eyes. She gave Kai a sad smile, and she reluctantly said, "I was the cause of that dissension."
