The scariest thing I see so far is that Randall Hanke - how does he make so many shots, and how is Fairfield going to contain this guy?

McDermott and Efeyuku are the freshman getting a lot of playing time and averaging double figures. Along with Hanke and McGrath, the other players with a lot of time are Hill and Curry. This should be an interesting team to watch tonight.

I beleive that Hanke made an unofficial visit to Fairfield on his way up to his Boston College visit a few years ago. I think he ended up decideing between PC and BC.

I saw him play a few times last year and he was a different player from the beginning to end of the season. Very similar to how former Stag Pete Debisschop progressed during his Junior year.

Last year, Hanke shot 72% from the field and shot 66% from the FT line. This year Hanke is 57% from the FT line. So I would think that we need to keep a body on him, and maybe play a little Hack-a-Hanke and send him to the line. Hanke's profile on the Providence website says he is a 0 (zero) handicap in Golf...... no wonder he is so accurrate on his shot.

Looks like Providence has some really good frosh, along with the good shooting Mcgrath, so it looks like we have to play everyone straight up. I assume the 5-10 Curry will be pressuring Jon Han all night.
