I quit taping ALL soaps during JFP's reign of misogyny. I wrote TIIC and told them why. Then I quit watching the soaps. And I wrote. Then I quit watching ABC. And I wrote. Like they cared. It took over a year before I would watch any soaps at all (JFP's "promotion" to GH sort of helped), and to this day, I watch IRT when I can, IF I want. Until today....

When I left for physical therapy, I popped in a tape.

I wanted to see Tad and DiDixie. I never even liked them that much as a couple. Loved Tad, but Dixie was so sweet and dumb that mostly I wanted to beat her with a stick.

But the car wreck and the loss of baby Kate just tore me up. And if those two crazy kids can find each other after another missing-presumed-dead story, I'll watch.

I love reunions. I love reconciliation. I love everlasting love.
