Adam had given up on all hope of ever seeing his only son and as little as a year passed, he was slowly getting used to the idea, clingnig on to the hope that Leo might one day grow suspicious and try to come and find him. He had never meant to hurt the girl and he supposed he should have thought much more about wether or not he wanted to look after the child in question before he told her an outright 'no', but out of all this hardship one good thing had gone right for him that year, and that was finding love with a girl called Kendall Weaver. He was quite a bit more mature these days, though he hadn't changed much else in the long run. His browfurrowed a little as he heard a knock on the door and he switched off the television, a little confused. Kendall wouldn't be home this early, and they didn't usually get visitors unless they invited someone around - they were the secluded little couple, quite in their own world. His hand turned the knob of the door and his eyes widened in surprise before his gaze moved fleetingly to the boy on her hip. He recognised her immediately, though he had some trouble comprehending why, now, she had chosen to stand on his doorstep with the son she had been so against letting him see... "Portia?"
