Self-confidence can also be attractive because the person wants simply to have the same amount of self-confidence about them. Not only could they mimic the desire for that person but for the confidence too. I think a lot of people see someone who is self-confident as someone who is very comfortable with who they are. This trait is something that most people want. So they see someone else carrying themselves in such a way that it is attractive because you want to be able to do that too. So in a way you want to get to know the person so you can build your own self-confidence. I guess self confidence then has two main side effects: it can make people desire you, and it can make them eventually feel better about themselves. It�s interesting how when someone befriends someone who is confident their confidence usually appears to increase presumably since they are mimicking their friend�s confidence.
