You know in UBF it was all bible study

It was not sincere Bible study, but it was an ongoing attempt to abuse the Bible by twisting it and reading it selectively as a means to foster UBF ideology. It they had real interest in the Bible, there should be at lease some leaders who know the Biblical languages, and there should be not only Bible study but also lessons how to study and interpret the Bible properly. This is called Hermeneutics. There was no Hermeneutics in UBF whatsoever. There were no scholars in UBF. There were no standards and rules for Bible study whatsoever. It was no Bible study at all. It was only indoctrination and manipulation with the Bible as legitimation.

Bible study is all important. The problem of UBF is not that they have too much Bible study, but that they actually have no real Bible study at all. After having attended a Biblical seminary in a church and theological courses in a Bible college, I recognize the difference as night and day.
